Compliance Standards
Bulk drug substances are supplied only to licensed pharmacies and registered outsourcing facilities, and only where the substance is eligible for compounding under Section 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved. 503A partners compound only pursuant to valid patient-specific prescriptions; office-use orders are routed only to registered 503B outsourcing facilities. Compounds in our Research Catalogue, and investigational compounds, are not supplied for compounding or human use. Each partner pharmacy remains responsible for its own compounding, dispensing and state-law compliance.
